After the thesis, Klas has worked 23 years within the pharma sector with drug development and clinical operations in different roles as project leader and line manager. He has had roles as project manager to lead large global ph 3 trial and clinical program leader to coordinate development programs with the involvement of several individual clinical trials. As line manager he has headed up clinical trial manager teams as well as mixed clinical teams with different roles. During 6 years Klas and his leadership team built up an operational unit where he worked as VP for clinical operations with up to 70 employees working within various therapeutic areas. For the recent 2 years, Klas has worked as sr strategic advisor and supported different phases in drug development within the following areas: to provide strategic and advisory clinical development guidance and support, lead and conduct operational work, functioned as interim project and/or clinical director, support with sponsor oversight activities and vendor management including: vendor selection, budget set-up, budget follow-up, contract and scope handling, responsibility split, escalation and governance and facilitation of Sponsor-CRO collaboration.
